Refunds & Returns Policy

We get it — sometimes things don’t go quite as planned. Here’s how we handle returns at Philosophy Studio.

Furniture Pieces

Each piece of furniture is handcrafted and made to order, just for you.
Because of this, all furniture sales are final — no returns or refunds once your order has been confirmed.
(Think of it as a long-term relationship — once we start building it, we’re in it together.)

If your piece arrives damaged or something feels off, please let us know straight away at hello@philosophystudio.com.au and we’ll do everything we can to make it right.


Curated Objects (Non-Furniture Items)

We want you to love what you ordered — but if you don’t, that’s okay too.
You can return most non-furniture items within 30 days of receiving them for a refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resaleable condition.
  • You’ll just need to cover the return shipping cost (unless we made a mistake — in which case, that’s on us).

To start a return, send a quick note to hello@philosophystudio.com.au — we promise we’re friendly.


Refunds

Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect it and process your refund back to your original payment method.
Please allow a few business days — banks and card companies sometimes move at their own, slower pace.


In Short

  • Furniture: final sale (custom-made = can’t un-make).
  • Everything else: 30-day return window.
  • If there’s a problem, talk to us. We’re here to help, not to hide behind policy pages.
