The Novella is Philosophy Studio’s bedside table designed for those who read before they sleep — and those who keep a short stack of stories always within reach.

Crafted in our Melbourne studio from solid Tasmanian oak and premium veneered plywood, it brings together two complementary timbers: the gentle grain of oak and the warmth of Jarrah. Inside, the sides are lined with tweed fabric from ANTA Scotland, creating a cosy, tactile nook for current reads and favourite companions.

With compact proportions — The Novella sits comfortably beside any bed, offering a dedicated space for nightly rituals: a lamp, a book, a moment of stillness. Its open shelf keeps your stories close, while its thoughtful detailing invites you to slow down and linger.
